The Summer Internship Experience: Make a Difference
As a Hologic Intern, you are not just taking a summer job; you are taking your place on a global team of motivated, creative and amazing people! The summer internship experience gives you the opportunity to shine and share your knowledge, energy, and passion on meaningful projects that impact people all over the world. In addition to a project that will provide maximum experience and exposure in your desired field the Hologic College Relations team provides opportunities to learn more about the company, network with leadership, and develop the skills needed to succeed in a global organization.
The Diagnostics Marketing Communications team oversees all marketing and promotional initiatives to ensure the flawless development and execution of world-class communications and events for the division.
As an intern on this dynamic team you will have the opportunity to:
- Ideate, plan, and manage video production for marketing and internal events.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams and vendors to plan and execute deliverables for sales meetings.
- Develop a strong brand story for events through promotional email, social, and web strategy.
- Strategize plan to elevate marketing experiences, streamline processes, and organize digital assets.
- Research current trends and implement content strategy. 6.Assist in filming, editing, and audio recording.
In order to be considered for an opportunity at Hologic, students must possess the following:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelors degree program & will have at least 1 semester left after internship
- Majoring in: Marketing, Communications, Visual Arts, or like major
- Achieved a 3.2/4.0 GPA or higher
- Rising Junior/Senior
- Strong written & verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational, problem solving & analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong independent judgment and leadership skills
- Proficient in Adobe Premire Pro and technology systems
- Local to San Diego CA and able to commute to office for internship
