Intern - Media Systems Engineer

As an intern with the San-Jose Media architecture system team, you will work with a forward-thinking team of engineers and professionals to solve complex problems. As part of your responsibilities you will be working on simulations, optimizations and creating modeling tools for mobile systems using advance statistical and analytical methods in order to ensure efficient and accurate design.

The expectations from the candidate is to be able to help & develop new methods and tools in order to assist Micron with developing the best in class products while using innovating ideas and approaches.

Successful candidates for this position will have:

• Engineering coursework with hands-on experience
• Strong analytic and programming skills, proficiency in Python, C++, JMP or Spotfire is a plus
• Experience working in teams and the ability to work well with others
• Problem-solving skills using statistical and analytical methods
• Good communication skills
• Self-motivation and enthusiasm

• Work experience in related field through co-op, internship, or projects is a plus

Education:

• Master degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related fields; Computer science candidates with 1+ years of industry experience are welcome too
• Must be continuing education in Fall of 2023

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

$15.50 - $41.33

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
