Intern Operations Management

Job Summary: The internship is designed to give students an overview of hospital operations including clinical and non-clinical services, workflows, project management, performance improvement, key performance indicators, and planning. Participates in projects, attends meetings, and interacts with CaroMont Health staff. Performs analysis of workflows and assists with defining work processes. Assignments and projects are defined by the senior leader preceptor. Intern will collaborate with senior directors, directors, or managers at the direction of the senior leader preceptor.

Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and participant in an accredited graduate program in health administration, public health, business administration, or similar degreesParticipating in a university sponsored internship program. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to use Microsoft software suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
