Department Overview:
This position is for a motivated Computer Science, Mechanical and/or Computer engineering intern to participate with an Engineering Tools and Methods team that manages and supports engineering's PLM and CAD software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working with the Teamcenter PLM application to implement workflow improvements.
- Helping to determine a migration strategy for visualization data from a legacy application
- Helping to implement a collaborative workspace in our Teamcenter software for our global engineering centers
- Creating and executing test plans for our Cad software
Basic Qualifications:
- In a Bachelor of Engineering or Computer Science degree program
- Completion of some IT/Computer Science courses
- Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident "Green Card" holder due to government contracts
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Fluent in English (verbal/written)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Desire to learn
- Desire to work with and support software application users
