*The position will sit at our Automotive HQ in Auburn Hills, MI.

THE POSITION

The intern is provided the opportunity to gain valuable work experience in a professional engineering environment while assisting on actual projects and lab activities. There will be opportunities to build interpersonal and communication skills while working closely with Continental engineers.

The intern will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
• Torque tests• Environmental tests• Reservoir tests• Disassembly and Photograph parts

Requesting support with documentation for:• Safety Compliance - ISO 45000• Quality Standard Compliance - ISO 16949• Environmental Compliance - ISO 14000

Job Requirements

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Must be enrolled in a US accredited degree program pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering or similar• Must have and maintain a minimum GPA of a 2.8• Minimum sophomore standing or higher• Attention to detail and good organizational skills• Detail oriented and ability to follow through on tasks• Exceptional written and oral communication skills• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook• Must be able to work a minimum of 20 hours during normal business hours (Mon - Fri)• Legal Authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job opening

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Familiar with test lab environment
