Intern, Product Management - January 2025

Internship Program Details:

UKG's Intern program is dedicated to helping students jump start their business careers at a top-ranked technology company that cares about its people. The internship will begin in on Monday January 13th, 2025, and will end on Friday June 13th, 2025. It is a full-time role, Monday through Friday, from 9:00am - 5:30pm. To be eligible for our internship program you must be able to work in a hybrid environment and be on-site 3 days per week at our Kilkenny office which is in the IDA Business and Technology Park.

About the role:

As an intern in Product Management, you will gain exposure to the full product development lifecycle, work cross-functionally with other teams, help to identify and define product initiatives and work on new features or enhancements.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct user interviews to map/document flows and dependencies which influence engineering decisions.
• Gain exposure to various business units by meeting with stakeholders to understand how they are using internal tools.
• Build an understanding of the rhythm of product life cycle while creating a log of future development work.
• Contribute to efficiency and process enhancement projects.
• Compile, analyse and track operational data/metrics.

Basic Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, IT, Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle.
• The ability to draw conclusions and recommendations based on data analysis given a business environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to effectively manage multiple work assignments and lead projects.
• Knowledge of Office productivity tools.
