Job Description

Q2 is looking for talented individuals with exceptional technical curiosity and is enthusiastic about solving problems. 

The Summer Internship Program is 12-weeks long (May 22nd - August 11th) and all positions are paid hourly with an average work week of 40 hours. You’ll receive real world career experience in a professional setting focused on digital banking software and technology. In addition to your daily work, you will be given the opportunity for weekly classroom trainings with Sr. Leadership, activities with other Q2 interns and the opportunity to present to the Executive Leadership team at the end of the program. Upon completion of the internship program, interns have the opportunity to receive a full-time position after graduation.

This position will be an in-office or hybrid role. Due to this being an in-office or hybrid role, it is preferred the intern is located in Austin or surrounding areas.

As a Product Operations Intern, you will learn about how evidence-based decision-making informs business processes and decisions throughout the Q2 Product Organization. This role provides a 360° view of the entire business, working closely with the leaders of Product.

Responsibilities: 

 

· Working internally with our Product Managers to understand their needs and design ways to solve them

· Identifying areas of improvement in our processes to gain efficiencies

· Utilizing data to identify trends that influence performance; both in terms of the client impact and internal company performance.

· Finding opportunities to automate data gathering, correlating, analysis, and reporting activities.

· Documenting and curating internal processes and procedures

· Researching proper tooling, instrumentation, and best practices for processes and data collection throughout the organization.

 

Requirements: 

· Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program with an expected graduation between May 2023 and May 2024.

· Motivated self-learner with the passion and follow through to acquire new skills

· Enthusiasm and a desire to make a difference

· Good written and verbal communication

· Ability to operate independently and proactively with minimal up-front instruction and take ownership of work product; driven, diligent, and self-motivated

· Excellent Microsoft products (excel, word, PPT) a must.

· Some experience with and an understanding of:

  • Data visualization tools: PowerBI, Tableau, and Yellowfin
  • Data querying and programming languages: SQL, Python, etc.
  • Experience with Databricks is a plus
