Short Description:

As a Product Owner Intern at Allegiant, you will have the opportunity to work alongside our product development team to help shape the future of our airline. In this role, you will report to the Product Manager and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our products meet the needs of our customers and drive business results.

Minimum Requirements:

Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. Must pass a Criminal Background Check.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree

Education Details:

Bachelor's Degree recent graduate or currently pursuing degree. To be qualified to apply intern candidates should be currently enrolled in a college or university, or a recent graduate within the last six months with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.



•Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.

•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and develop actionable insights.

•Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.


Preferred Requirements:

•Exceptional communications skills and the ability to lead and get work done through others and handle multiple projects.

•Inherent curiosity, and a passionate for solving challenges while utilizing a data driven approach.

•Strong strategic, analytical and critical thinking skills, ability to communicate to leadership.

•Passion for aviation and travel.


Job Duties:

•Assist the Product Manager in backlog management and prioritization to ensure that the team is focused on delivering the most valuable features to our customers.

•Collaborate with designers and developers to ensure that user stories are well-defined and align with our product vision.

•Conduct market research and analyze customer feedback to identify opportunities for product improvements and new features.

•Assist with user acceptance testing and quality assurance to ensure that products meet our standards for usability, functionality, and performance.

•Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and other agile ceremonies to ensure that the team is operating efficiently and effectively.

•Other duties as assigned.

Office - While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, key board, printer, and phone. May be required to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 20 lbs. May be required to work various shifts/days in a 24-hour situation. Regular attendance is a requirement of the role. Exposure to moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones, printers, and foot traffic), temperature and light fluctuations. Ability to work in a confined area as well as the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time. Some travel may be a requirement of the role.


Essential Services Provider:

Allegiant as a national air carrier is deemed an essential service provider during declared national and state emergencies. Team Members will be required to report to their assigned trip or work location during national and state emergencies unless prohibited by local, state or federal order.
