Your Role and Responsibilities
DevOps Engineers at IBM are game changers accelerating the IBM transformation for IBM products and services we build and deliver to our customers. In this role you will work with experienced DevOps Engineers designing implementing and maintaining modern and open toolchains automation frameworks and test suites infrastructure tiers fostering e2e automation for CI/CD DevOps pipelines that satisfy quality and Agile deliverables on behalf of our stakeholders’ needs. POC/POT and continuous improvements in our pipelines will be a common and active space to foster your creativity and innovation same to address scalability and optimization. You will also collaborate with a multi-disciplinary teams such as Designers Offering Mangers Development Mangers team leaders developers and test teams among others from the IBM Z Hybrid Cloud organization.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Understanding of Agile Sw Development process
• Foundations of DevOps Engineering role (e.g. Code Build Test Provision Deploy Release Monitor Plan Analyze).
• Experience on scripting languages (Ant Bash Shell Powershell Python Ansible Terraform Groovy etc.)
• Experience on Linux preferable in the terminal environment (any distribution) scripting languages
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with fluency in English

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Familiarity with multiple OSes : Linux Windows and macOS
• Experience on Agile methodologies
• Familiarity Automation practices (e.g. TDD shift left testing)
