Overall Purpose
This position assists in performing tasks needed to maintain the overall integrity and reliability of Early Warning Services systems and network. This position typically will be for 12 week period and will work under the direct supervision of a department manager or designee. The position is responsible for expanding experiences and knowledge of practices and procedures as they relate to assigned area.

Essential Functions

• Perform administration, installation, configuration and maintenance of the Tableau and Business Objects servers.
• Work with BI Dev teams to troubleshoot report execution related issues and SQL fine tuning.
• Assist with Tableau workbook/extracts and Business Objects reports/Universe migrations to PROD environments as part of change management.
• Plan and execute new integrations related tasks such as Firewall configuration, Service Accounts, and ODBC drivers installations and configurations.
• Assist with Disaster Recovery related activities during an event of a disaster or routine exercise.
• Troubleshoot and provide root cause analysis for issues related to extract or connection failures to databases.
• Assist with setting up Infoburst jobs and monitor any aborted jobs.
• Support and advise day to day operational related activities with FRM, EBI and CC teams.
• Implement defined changes to existing hardware and operating system infrastructure including patches, users, file systems.
• Maintain and update server versions and toolsets to improve security and stability.
• Expands and develops knowledge with exposure to assigned area.
• Participates on work teams, contributes to projects and initiatives, and performs various tasks as needed by the assigned unit/department.
• Performs research and prepares reports on assigned topics and /or projects when required.
• Works as a member of a team providing service to internal and external customers
• Support the company's commitment to risk management and protecting the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data.

Minimum Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college program with course work related to the internship or general knowledge acquired as normally obtained through the completion of a bachelor's degree.
• Must be able to communicate with various levels of employees within the department and proven technical and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with commonly used office software and personal computers may be necessary, depending on assignment.
• Must be US citizen or US National only.
• Background and drug screen.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
• Linux/Unix
• Python or Ruby programming

Physical Requirements
Working conditions consist of a normal office environment. Work is primarily sedentary and requires extensive use of a computer and involves sitting for periods of approximately four hours. Work may require occasional standing, walking, kneeling, and reaching. Must be able to lift 10 pounds occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently. Requires visual acuity and dexterity to view, prepare, and manipulate documents and office equipment including personal computers. Requires the ability to communicate with internal and/or external customers.
