About Your Business Area/Department:
- Amadeus Hospitality is providing technology solutions for reservations, sales and catering, property management and operations.
- Our Department is in charge of the platform and backend systems supporting Sales & Catering products
Summary of the Internship:
- Goal of the internship is to validate some hypothesis on moving application services to a cloud based platform and leverage its capabilities to improve system efficiency and reliability
- As an intern you will be given the opportunity to
- study the technical challenges and understand how the system is working
- propose solution(s)
- implement one or more prototypes
- provide a final recommendation
In this role you'll:
- You will be embedded in a team. Learning their way of working and best practices such as CI/CD Pipelines, Source Control, Documentation platform.
What type of technology will they use
- Cloud, APIs, microservices, platform as a service, containers, message driven middleware
Technology/skills you will be learning
- C#
- Microservices
- Event/Message Driven Architecture
- Azure infrastructure and platform as a service
About the ideal candidate:
- Students must currently be in a Computer science / Software engineering degree program or have graduated < l year.
- Programming experience with C#, Java , node or similar
- Understanding of HTTP, REST, APIs
- Good understanding of algorithms and data structure
- Understanding of queueing/asynchronous processing
- Good oral and written communication
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle
