THE POSITION

The Software Engineer Intern will be responsible for supporting Electronic Brake and Safety (EBS) software development and/or verification.

This includes, but not limited to, the following:• Problem analysis with software issues (e.g. EBS software)• Development of scripts/tools to aid in the problem analysis and/or product development• Software verification on hardware in loop (HIL) and software in loop (SIL)• Assistance in other tasks as needed and determined by management

Job Requirements

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Must be currently enrolled in a US accredited degree program pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field• Must be at least sophomore standing or higher• Able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week during normal business hours (Monday - Friday)• Must have and maintain a minimum GPA of 2.8• Must be able to intern longer than summer-only months • Experience in at least one scripting language (preferred, Python)• Experience in at least one high-level programming language (e.g., Java, C/C++)• Ability to coordinate with international teams• Curious and motivated to learn new technical things quickly• Goal oriented, self-driven and a team-player• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (i.e. Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint)• Continental is not able to pay relocation expenses for this opportunity• Legal Authorization to work in the US is required. PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS
• Familiarity with Git, GitHub, or other Version Control Systems• Experience in database systems (e.g. SQL)
