Job Description

Position Overview:

Autodesk is looking for a Software Development Engineer, Intern to join the Digital Employee Experience (DEX) Automation Services team within the Enterprise Systems & Experience (ESE) organization. This team leverages Software Engineering and DevOps principles to optimize the company's business critical systems and processes through delivering products and reusable platforms that enrich and improve the overall Autodesk employee experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Having a dedicated mentor who will help you navigate through Autodesk as a whole. From onboarding to your intern project, your mentor will get you ramped up and ready to make an impact - all while showing you what it means to be at Autodesk!
  • Design, develop and deliver high-value & quality cloud-based experiences.
  • Participate in planning rituals, ideate the feature, write & review working backwards document.
  • Participate in an agile-based development practice delivering value at high velocity


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be currently enrolled in a full-time, degree seeking program.
  • Understanding in developing full-stack software solutions using React/VueJS, Java/NodeJS.
  • Familiarity with developing REST APIs/GraphQL APIs.
  • Strong CS Fundamentals


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in building full-stack applications (both front-end & back-end)
  • Prior experience in ideating and delivering end to end experiences.

About the US Intern Program

The 2023 U.S. program runs for 12 weeks (May 22 - August 11 or June 12 - September 1). All internships are paid. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects, be mentored by industry leaders, work alongside peers from universities all over the country and participate in tech talks and other activities designed to support your personal and professional development. US recruiting begins in the Fall and concludes end of March.
