Autodesk Cloud Cost Analytics team is seeking a passionate Software Engineering Intern to enhance our analytics platform. This is a great opportunity to create amazing things and learn from some of the best in the industry.

As a Summer 2023 Software Engineer intern, you will join a team developing and analyzing AWS cost to optimize savings and performance.
Responsibilities
- Based on the AWS docs formalize a criterion to identify unused or over-provisioned resources
- Design, develop, test features and functionalities via applications and services
- Analyze data extracted from the data to quantify how much can be saved by acting on these resources
- Write code that is tested, readable, and maintainable
- Engage in technical and architectural discussions and decision making
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements, understand use cases and build towards a cohesive technical strategy
- Automate processes where possible and propose new tools when needed
Minimum Qualifications
- Hands-on software development experience in Python
- Familiar with cloud-native applications
- Familiar with Relational and NoSQL database technologies, such as MySQL, DynamoDB
- Customer-facing and service-oriented person
- Understanding DevOps best practices, architectures, and methods
- Ability to work in a remote team environment and successfully build collaborative relationships
- Must be at least 18 and enrolled in college or non-traditional education, such as coding boot camps or industry-related vocational classes and returning to school or program following the completion of this internship
- Must be attending school in the country where the internship is being offered
- A mix of previous internship, school project, volunteer and leadership experience are also important
About the US Intern Program
The 2023 U.S. program runs for 12 weeks (May 22 - August 11 or June 12 - September 1). All internships are paid. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects, be mentored by industry leaders, work alongside peers from universities all over the country and participate in tech talks and other activities designed to support your personal and professional development. US recruiting begins in the Fall and concludes end of March.
