About The Team:
The Cloud Infrastructure Engineering team applies software development practices to build, deploy, configure, and manage infrastructure components within the public cloud as consistent and codified stacks through infrastructure-as-code to support DPE enterprise and business applications. The team members are located across the globe with combination of both Cloud Infrastructure Engineers, Development and DevOps.
About The Role:
As a Software Engineer Intern, you will have the opportunity to learn the ins-and-outs of data platforms while focusing on learning how to manage the data and optimize the cost while storing extensive data.

About the US Intern Program
The 2023 U.S. program runs for 12 weeks (May 22 - August 11 or June 12 - September 1). All internships are paid. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects, be mentored by industry leaders, work alongside peers from universities all over the country and participate in tech talks and other activities designed to support your personal and professional development. US recruiting begins in the Fall and concludes end of March. About The Role:
As a Software Engineer Intern, you will have the opportunity to learn the ins-and-outs of data platforms while focusing on learning how to manage the data and optimize the cost while storing extensive data.
Your day-to-day will involve:
- Having a dedicated mentor who will help you navigate through Autodesk as a whole. From onboarding to your intern project, your mentor will get you ramped up and ready to make an impact - all while showing you what it means to be at Autodesk!
- Collaborate with the team on Architecture and solution discussion, while learning agile practices through team scrum events
- Designing and building software solutions
- Creating PR & FAQ documentation and presenting it to cross functional teams
About You:
- Must be currently enrolled in a full-time, degree seeking program with an expected graduation date in 2024
- Strong CS Fundamentals, with familiarity of public cloud and technologies
- Experience with developing back-end components to improve responsiveness and overall performance
- Strong communication, time management, and critical thinking skills
Bonus Points:
- Prior software engineering experience from internships, hackathons, or other side projects
- Knowledge of object-relational mapping (ORM)
- Experience with contributing to a community repository
