What You Will Do
The Sterility Assurance Intern will be responsible for assisting with technical support to various areas of the business including cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization of reusable and/or single use medical devices.

What You Will Do
The Sterility Assurance Intern will be responsible for assisting with technical support to various areas of the business including cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization of reusable and/or single use medical devices.
- Under supervision, develop compliant testing protocols and guidelines for new product development and product changes of both terminally sterilized and/or reusable medical devices.
- Under supervision, coordinate and complete project deliverables in collaboration with cross functional groups such as R&D, Global Quality Operations (GQO), Regulatory, and Marketing
- Support problem solving, root cause analysis, identify potential solutions, and evaluate them against requirements.
- Assist with the development or revision of quality system procedures for CQR Sterility Assurance.
- Med Device Compliance:
- Understand fundamental industry standards, validation requirements, and test strategies which align with regulatory requirements.
- With supervision, create or refine documentation, such as sterilization evaluations, and/or reusable device processing evaluations, per company design control procedures.
- Apply procedures per the Quality Management System (e.g., terminal sterilization, and/or reusable device processing).
What You Need
- Currently working on completion of Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent; we will only consider students who plan be enrolled in a degree-seeking program after the summer
- Cumulative 3.0 GPA or above; must be the case at the date of hire and also will be verified during background check in the spring
- Must be permanent resident of the U.S. or U.S. citizen
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
- Ability to exercise independent judgment
- Proficient on basic computer programs: Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Proven leadership and business acumen skills
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills
