THE POSITION

The System Test Engineer Intern will gain experience in the following:

RADAR (Perception Development Kit) PDK SETUP• Performing bench level PDK setup for ARS540• Ubuntu Install on laptop• PDK Install• HW Bench setup with Radar - Laptop - SW PDK Visualization output• Transfer to mobile Cart/Bench or vehicle level with potential vehicle candidate.

FLASHING - RADAR/CAMERA/ACU• Support for on demand flashing for radar sales. (Currently done by fulltime engineers)• Assist with sensor orders. Some customers have 30+ sensor orders

CAMERA PDK SETUP• Performing bench level PDK setup for camera• Laptop OS install Windows or Ubuntu• PDK Install• HW Bench setup with Camera - Laptop - SW PDK Visualization output• Transfer to mobile Cart/Bench or vehicle level with potential vehicle candidate.

VEHICLE TEST SUPPORT• Support vehicle testing. Typically, secondary target car is required• Support vehicle builds

Job Requirements

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Must be currently enrolled in a US accredited degree program pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering• Must be at least sophomore standing or higher• Must have and maintain a minimum GPA of 2.8• Must be able to intern longer than summer-only months • Able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week during normal business hours (Monday-Friday)• Curious and motivated to learn new technical things quickly• Interest in brake systems or Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS)• Good communication skills• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (i.e. Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint)• Continental is not able to pay relocation expenses for this opportunity• Legal Authorization to work in the US is required.
