Job Description

The JM Family College Internship program is designed to create an opportunity for college students to have meaningful work experiences that tie to their programs of study. As part of this program, you will actively contribute to your team's success, learn about JM Family's companies and culture while obtaining new skills through learning opportunities, networking events and much more.

The ideal candidate will be available to work full time hours during the Summer Internship Program (June 3, 2024 - August 9, 2024).

JM Family's Talent Management team is a valued department of the Human Resources organization, responsible for talent planning, performance management, leadership development, executive search, and more. The Talent Management team is seeking an intern who will be responsible for researching emerging trends and ultimately recommending best practices in Talent Management, Learning and Development, Talent Programs Development, Leadership Development, and Performance Management.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and present emerging tools and technologies that enhance Talent Management and the Human Resources function.
  • Document current Talent Management processes; make recommendations for improvements and efficiencies.
  • Incorporate additional measurement, reinforcement, and sustainability strategies to determine program impact tied to intended outcomes.
  • Collect and analyze talent programs-related data then prepare presentations based on findings.
  • Assist in tracking associate learning progress and maintain records.
  • Help maintain and organize Enterprise Learning Knowledge Base of Product and Service information.
  • Provide administrative support to the Talent Management team as needed.
  • Attend team meetings, actively network and learn from peers and management.

Qualifications:

  • Our ideal candidate will be available to work on-site/hybrid at our Deerfield Beach, FL offices for the duration of our 10-week summer program. Other work for the remainder of the internship can be done remotely.
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years old at the start of the program (2024).
  • Must be actively seeking a degree entering junior or senior year of study or in graduate level studies at an accredited college or university. Preferred majors are Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Psychology, Talent Management, Learning and Organizational Development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, to support cross-functional communications with a wide variety of individuals, including external/internal partners; and the ability to conduct presentations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
