Intern - Treasury Management - Product and Payments

The Treasury Management & Treasury Products - Payments Intern will assist the Treasury Management Product and Payments Teams and with special projects to include:

Projects:

1. Review and complete a clean -up of erroneous public fund accounts and improper coding.
2. Review and complete missing NAICS codes on commercial business accounts.
3. Update FX revenue spreadsheets for 2023 and communicate out to the sales team the appropriate information.
4. Review fees for high -risk clients that include but not limited to CRB and MSB.
5. Review cash-out volume and potential fee revenue from adding this line item
6. Calculate potential fee revenue gain from increasing fees assessed to high -risk clients and make recommendation to Product Leadership team.
7. Review and complete missing information for the ACH Client Letter Project
8. Review Launchpad layout and design for the treasury and merchant pages and incorporate changes for streamlined access.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Participate as a project researcher for the Treasury Management Product team.
2. Gain hands on experience and practical experience within the Treasury Management Product team. This would include Excel, Sequel, Word, PowerPoint and other application/reporting tools.
3. Learn roles and responsibilities within the Treasury Management line of business.
4. Learn the importance of product, reporting and all topics related to Treasury and Merchant line of business.
5. Attend and participate in department and other line of business meetings.
6. Collaborate with multiple lines of business to ensure project completion.
7. Work closely with the Senior Product Manager, Product Manager and Business Analyst to complete multiple projects assigned to the team.

In addition to the learning objectives, all interns will participate as a group in a community service project. There will also be the opportunity to network with our Senior Leaders during our final presentation event in the last week of the program. Each intern will present to the wider intern group, managers and senior leaders about the projects they were involved in and takeaways that will help them be successful in their careers.

Who is qualified to apply?

Students must:

• be a degree-seeking full time student at an accredited college or university.
• be available to work 40 hours per week from May 13, 2024 through August 2, 2024.
• be authorized to work in the United States.
• have demonstrated interest in the industry and/or specific area of interest as exemplified through past work experience, internships and/or major course of study.
• possess a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• have strong written and verbal communication skills
• be able and willing to travel periodically, if required
