Ascend Learning is hiring a UX Intern for Spring 2023 semester. As an Intern, you'll have the opportunity to work as a part of a high-performing centralized UX design team and finish the internship with projects you can include in your professional portfolio.

Our internship program focuses on UX Research and Design is crafted to provide challenging and meaningful opportunities to work across various online learning platforms serving industries like Healthcare, Fitness and more. This internship can work in our Burlington, MA office/hybrid or Leawood, KS office/hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Conduct User Research activities, analyze and document the findings
• Assist other designers interpret user feedback and provide recommendations
• Collaborate with design team in building design component library
• Create user flows, conceptual wireframes and visual design mockups as part of the ongoing design projects

Education & Experience

• Must be pursuing Master's degree in Human factors/HCI or any UX related program.

Skills & Abilities

• Must have a design portfolio.
• Knowledge of User centered Design, UX Methods and design life cycle activities.
• Familiarity with design tools such as Axure, Sketch, and research tools such as Userzoom.
