During our 10-week internship program, you will have the opportunity to experience our culture, build your network and apply your education, while gaining real-world experience. You'll spend your summer taking on a variety of roles with some fun along the way. The experience only lasts the summer but will open a lifetime of opportunity.
About the role:
As a Visual Design Intern, you will assist with producing creative User Experiences that spans through a multitude of consumer products. You would be working together with User Experience Designers to take client objectives and turn them into intuitive and compelling designs. You will assist with visual design explorations to generate ideas and craft a compelling visual language.
What you'll do:
- Work with our Design and UX leads to create compelling user experiences
- Design and develop visual languages
- Learn the end-to-end process from project kick-off to delivery handoff
- Use Journey Maps, User Stories and Research to inform your designs
- Understand how to design within different platforms/technologies
Academic requirements:
- College graduate or Junior-standing, with target graduation date between December 2023 and June 2024
- Creative mind and collaborative spirit
- Demonstrated exceptional performance in these or related majors at the bachelor's degree level:
- Human Computer Interaction
- Visual Design
- User Experience Design
- Graphic/Web/Mobile Design
About you
- Experience with visual design, principles of UI design, layouts, graphics development, typography, color, and visual theories preferred
- Excellent attention to detail using Typography and Visual hierarchy
- Proficient in Figma and an eagerness to learn additional design tools
- Great communicator with an eagerness to work in a team
- Knowledge of user experience disciplines such as UX architecture, research, usability, and content strategies preferred
- Functional Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite needed; knowledge of W3C HTML / XHTML, CSS, motion principles a plus
