Job Details:
Job Summary: We are looking for a System Test Engineer intern to join our team supporting the One Metro New York project currently live. The system is helping millions of people from all over the world enhance their commuting experience every day. This is a great opportunity if you are interested on learning how a live engineering system works end-to-end. This position typically works under close supervision and direction.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develops and executes manual and/or automated Back Office/Mobile test cases.
- Identify, review, and reproduce problems and verifies fixes
- Interfaces with engineering staff to identify 'testable' features of the design.
- Interfaces with program management through life cycle of project.
- Interfaces with customer representatives during test phase.
- Write test reports.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Enrollment in a four-year college degree program in engineering, computer science or other related technical discipline and in at least the second year of college.
- Ability to effectively communicate, verbally and written.
- Excellent organization skills, follow-through, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow written and verbal direction, and effectively interface with employees, management, and customers.
- Ability to perform tasks under work deadlines.
- Recommended computer skills include: Basic knowledge of SQL or/and Postman APIs, test automation tools.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and other MS Office applications.

Additional Information
(San Diego only***) Targeted full-time hourly range between $26.30 - $32.92 + benefits.
