The Opportunity

We’re one of the world’s best-known employee experience companies and are creating an internal communications and engagement centre of excellence to help deliver for our colleagues across the world. 

Reporting to the Director of Internal Communications, you’ll be a critical member of this new team. You’ll be an all-rounder – a creative writer who is able to plan, create, deliver, and measure communications, and a strategic partner to senior leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Business partner with leaders from across the organization to help drive strategically aligned business outcomes.
• Support in the planning of delivery of key internal campaigns and events.
• Content production – writing, filming, editing – for our channels.
• Co-own the relationship with our internal communications network – a group of subject matter experts and content creators from across the business.
• Assist in developing and implementing the Poppulo channels architecture and digital content strategy.
• Establish and maintain a production and publication schedule to manage content workflow and ensure our channels are supported with content aligned to business and stakeholder needs
• Help to establish governance and assessment standards and processes to ensure content meets the highest standards, including content produced by agencies and third parties.
• Monitor the effectiveness of content and the channel architecture to help us consistently improve.
• Help to establish and maintain a leading colleague listening strategy.

Candidate expertise required

• 2-3 years’ experience working as part of a high-performing internal/employee communications function.
• Significant knowledge of modern internal communications, channels, digital media, and colleague communications best practice.
• Experience in managing communications channels, including Poppulo and SharePoint.
• Successful track record of creating exciting, business-wide content across multiple platforms.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, multi-tasking to a high standard.
• Strong writer and editor, with an ability to translate complex business materials into compelling content for a range of internal communications channels.
• Proven experience of developing internal communications and employee engagement strategies and managing effective implementation.
• Proven track record of influencing and aligning multiple internal stakeholders.

Compensation Range: $55,000-$65,000 plus variable.
