The Corporate Communications team manages the global reputation of Point72 and all related entities. The team is responsible for all aspects of corporate communications, including media relations, external and internal communications, digital content and distribution, and brand management.  We’re a small, collaborative team that works closely with Point72 senior management, functional leaders, and all departments firmwide. What you’ll do

The Internal Communications Associate will join the Corporate Communications team to support internal communications within a dynamic firm, with a focus on the Technology organization. In this role, you will draft internal materials and manage events that reinforce culture and maintain organizational alignment in fast-growing and complex teams. Specifically, you will be responsible for creating internal announcements and presentations, organizing events such as town halls and speaker series, and managing content across internal platforms.

This is a great opportunity for an ambitious communications professional to learn the ins and outs of our global hedge fund with a path to grow and take on additional responsibilities over time. Specifically, you will:

• Contribute to and execute on an internal communications strategy with a focus on strengthening connectivity within the Technology group and between Technology and other internal groups
• Collaborate with and leverage the expertise of your Corporate Communications team members

• Draft and distribute internal communications tailored for specific audiences, including weekly wrap ups, functional news, organizational announcements, service updates, training materials, and updates on key projects and initiatives
• Support the preparation and production of team events, including helping speakers prepare, coordinating with internal and external groups on logistics, and maintaining responsibility for events running smoothly
• Manage the Technology group’s presence on the firm’s intranet, ensuring users have access to essential tech-related information, updates, how to guides, and more
• Build trusted relationships with technologists and other stakeholders across the organization
• Help gather feedback and present recommendations for further improving communication and connectivity across the firm

What’s required

• 4+ years of experience in a communications focused role, including internal communications, content strategy, and writing/presentation development
• Experience working closely with technologists as part of a technology company or function, or equivalent agency experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and convey them in writing to a variety of audiences
• Experience planning and executing in-person and virtual events, including coordinating production and supporting content development
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and build consensus among groups
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Commitment to the highest ethical standards

The annual base salary range for this role is $115,00-130,000 which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
