Our Internal Comms team is looking for an experienced  storyteller who can work with partners across the company to generate content that celebrates the work of the EMEA team and spreads the word about important company milestones and policy updates.

What you’ll do:

  • In close coordination with the Director of Internal Communications and other members of the team, you will manage existing programs and spearhead new initiatives to further Snap culture and improve the sharing of information with the internal audience

  • Partner with business leaders across Snap’s EMEA offices to help them frame, explain, and distribute announcements about important initiatives, and highlight the innovation and collaboration behind advancements at Snap in the region

  • Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the company’s intranet; coordinate with key partners in EMEA to find solutions in the site’s functionalities that address their communications challenges

  • Increase the sharing of stories across geographies by working with representatives in the region to generate content in a variety of formats that can be shared through the Blue House Bulletin, the company’s internal news source

  • Help define and prioritize unit needs, manage strategic initiatives, and document processes that improve the quality of internal communications at Snap

  • Support speakers series and other initiatives that scale the impact of the Internal Comms team in EMEA

  • Coordinate resources across multiple projects and teams

  • Manage and track operational and creative projects

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong writing skills

  • Experience filming video and operating video equipment on set or on location

  • Strong people skills and ability to engage with all levels of the organization

  • Proven ability to operate independently, work creatively, exercise a strong attention to detail, and manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance

  • Exceptional problem-solving, and communication skills

  • Familiarity with publishing via a Content Management System

  • An appreciation of Snap’s values and a passion for Snapchat

  • Ability to translate the technical aspects of AR and backend infrastructure into digestible content for general readers

  • Must be flexible and willing to travel as needed

 

 

 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent years of experience
