Why this role

As part of our Marketing team, the Internal Communications Manager will lead all aspects of communication with our rapidly growing team of 1,000+ Evolvers. You’ll dedicate yourself to establishing relationships with stakeholders across the business to help align our team with our ambitious mission, vision, and goals. Your communication will build trust, connection, and engagement in an ever-changing environment. Most importantly, you’ll help keep our teams empowered and informed as we move towards becoming the most trusted hospitality brand in vacation rental. 

What you’ll do

  • Develop and execute Evolve’s internal communications strategy for specific audiences and at at the all-company level
  • Identify and own metrics that measure impact of a newly established internal communications function 
  • Identify and lead efforts for collaboration between communications leaders across Evolve to increase awareness and build connection between teams
  • Lead Evolve’s Slack and intranet efforts, including content calendars, content creation, governance, and maintenance
  • Work cross-functionally with teams across the company to build communications plans related to support change management
  • Promote methods for collecting teammate voice with abilities to analyze the data, identify trends, and provide feedback for adjustments based on the findings
  • Partner with the People Team in the creation and delivery of communication strategies that support overall teammate engagement
  • Partner with Evolve’s Chief of Staff to support executive updates
  • Represent the perspective of our team in discussions related to crisis management and external social issues
  • Embody Evolve’s employer brand voice and ensure all communications and content are brand-aligned
  • Write content for diverse audiences through a variety of internal communications mediums, such as emails, presentations, Slack messages, and intranet posts

What makes you a great fit 

  • 5+ years of professional experience working internal/teammate communication
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Demonstrated experience in the creation and delivery of communication strategies that support overall teammate engagement
  • Proven experience in the creation and implementation of an employer brand voice
  • Ability to multitask, collaborate, and prioritize in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with rapid pace of change
  • Experience with digital and video means of communication, as well as a strong design aesthetic to align content with brand standards
  • Strong business acumen, understanding how this function drives value for the company
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills in order to work with a diverse range of teammates, teams and departments
  • Proven experience tracking and analyzing efforts for continuous improvement
  • Self-starter with patience and perseverance
  • Organized, process-friendly, and detail-oriented

Location 

Evolve has a flexible working environment so teammates can work remotely anywhere in the state of Colorado, in our beautiful downtown Denver office, remotely or a hybrid of both! As we grow, we are working towards opening remote opportunities across the entire U.S. We currently are able to hire across the U.S except in the following locations: California, District of Columbia, Hawaii, New Jersey, New Mexico, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. 

Compensation

For this role our salary range is $84,000-$96,000 depending on relevant experience.
