Position Summary:

The Internal Communications Manager is responsible for overseeing and executing the operational and tactical aspects of Arrow's communications framework, serving as a long-term lever to educate employees and drive conversations about Arrow. Through strong storytelling capability and attention to detail, the Internal Communications Manager aligns with leaders to advance a communications strategy and practice that emphasizes Arrow's purpose and instills a cohesive mindset across the organization. Working alongside and reporting to the Internal Communications Director, they will deliver sophistication and consistency in how Arrow shares information globally.
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Drive internal communications programming. Ensure successful delivery of Arrow's communications practice, emphasizing company culture and workplace experience. Proactively tell stories through critical messaging, with a focus on digitization.
  • Advise leaders and cross-functional stakeholders on Arrow's employee communication processes, ensuring consistency in messaging that aligns with business intent. Partner with relevant parties to maintain global standards and publish narratives that are resonant with target audiences.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills in written work, as well as in editing and presentation abilities. In partnership with communications leadership and business stakeholders, develop messaging that is clear, interesting, and relevant.
  • Measure and share success. Utilize digital engagement tools to track, report, and improve communication outcomes and successes.
  • Continually refine Arrow's framework. Through goal setting and prioritizing, deliver on opportunities to improve performance with respect to Arrow's communication framework, following leadership direction and utilizing technologies that advance the overall agenda.
  • Work effectively across various teams and priorities, leading time-sensitive projects under tight deadlines. Showcase strong cross-departmental collaboration and respond to needs with urgency and resourcefulness.

  • Ability to influence and guide internal stakeholders at all levels in the organization, with a focus on maximizing communication effectiveness.
  • Drive adoption of communication standards and practices globally, ensuring alignment with Arrow's brand, image, and tone.
  • Successfully participate in projects that lead the digitization of corporate communications (i.e. communications platform implementation and enhancement) to improve the quality and quantity of service deliverables.
  • Anticipate the communications needs of leadership for critical information sharing on timely and relevant business topics.
  • Follow departmental and programmatic goal plans, based on outlined priorities and metrics for success.
  • Look beyond existing methodologies to define and resolve complex issues.
  • Effectively prioritize multiple deadlines, demonstrating the ability to respond quickly and effectively to time-sensitive matters.

The Skills That Will Help You Succeed Even More:
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, business, or related field.
  • Five or more years' experience overseeing employee and business-related communications for a Fortune 500 company or global enterprise strongly preferred
  • Superior writing, editing, and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated success in storytelling - through narrative, data-based, and presentation-related channels.
  • Tech savvy mindset and the ability to modernize practices through digitization.
  • The ability to coach and influence across different organization levels and contribute to others' communication development.
  • Effective internal relationship building and stakeholder engagement
  • Ability to learn and understand new concepts and information quickly and generate meaningful insights.
  • Strong process management and organization skills, directing work across multiple channels and functions

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:
$94,800.00 - $151,250.00
Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
