Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Facility in Long Island, NY

A Private Practice is seeking an Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located in Long Island, New York.

This role offers a 4-day, 10-hour schedule (Mon-Fri, 8 AM-6 PM), including one evening shift (10 AM-7 PM) and potential future Sunday coverage. Credentialing takes 60-90 days but allows for a pending start. Providers will see 25-30 patients daily (ages 16+), supported by three providers and front desk staff.
BC/BE and a DEA license are required. Spanish fluency is highly preferred but not required. The role involves managing diabetes, hypertension, sick visits, wellness check-ups, pap smears, and occasional medication refills (Suboxone, diet, and anxiety meds, no new prescriptions). Strong bedside manner is essential.
