Internal Project Manager

What you'll do:

The internal project manager makes sure the order or project is processed on time, against the right costs and quality. The internal project manager works closely with planning, work preparation, engineering, and the external order/contract manager. The incumbent will be involved in projects/orders in the following products: electrical power distribution equipment (medium and low voltage). Modularly furnished standard systems with customer specific solutions. Projects will be received from Sales (external organization) The internal project/order managers volume of 5-50 orders simultaneously, in different stages of execution, the lead time varies from 12 weeks up to 1 year, the average value of a project varies from 10K up to €2,5 Million per order/project. You can work in a multidisciplinary environment. Your team consists of several Internal Order/Project managers together responsible for different product lines.

Your main duties:
• Organise plan and control orders entered by the sales organization.
• You are responsible for the timely start-up, and within budget and on time completion of your assigned projects.
• You are responsible for the completion of the order in time, against the right costs. You proactively control budget and cost.
• You are responsible for processing and monitoring quality issues.
• You initiate and lead the kick-off and progress meetings of projects.
• You report on the project progress in the various systems is works with.
• You work in alignment with multiple CSO order managers.
• Understand the technical documentation for production and ensure specifications are met.
• Outsource process steps in alignment with Value Stream Leader and with the purchase department.
• Monitor progress and quality of diverse projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
• +/- 5 years of working experience

Skills:

• Knowledge of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and materials.
• Product portfolio & possible applications for standard and non-standard systems
• Project management skills, PMP certification or equivalent PM certification with another institute is a plus.
• Proactive/self-starter, efficient, hands om excellent communication skills
• Ownership - Eaton Leadership Model
• Continuous Improvement/lean mind set.
• Ability to work within an international and diverse matrix organisation.
• Excellent Dutch & English language skills
