International Account Manager
Job Description
Go Maverick Group has a client looking to add an International Account Manager to their team. Reporting to and supporting the VP of Global Sales, this person will be responsible for selling and executing against long term business growth and profitability objectives outside of the US.Monitor monthly forecasts, order book and shipments. Work closely with demand planner and export representatives to ensure timely shipments and follow up as needed Complete quotes, pre-shipment forms and customer requirements accurately and efficiently Execute strategic sales plans to achieve international sales targets and objectives. Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with strategic partners. Identify and penetrate new markets, customers and categories Work closely with various internal stakeholders, including marketing, product management, operations and finance to best serve the customers and the company. Coordinate International trade shows or sales meetings as needed. Understand competitive landscape, and potential business opportunities. Identify operational and product needs to improve sales in key growth territories. Provide direction to outside sales and manufacturer representatives where applicable and identify KPIs to evaluate ROI. Assess existing relationships and make recommendations for change. Other responsibilities may be assigned as necessary
This individual will be responsible for streamlining communications to customers, distributors and sales representatives. S/he will implement strategic growth plans within our client's core product lines, as well as expanding into new categories in key regions. S/he will maintain international price lists, track and maintain orders and work with internal stakeholders to execute against company initiatives. In this role, you will be the primary contact for international relationships.

Requirements
- A Bachelor's Degree required
- 3 years+ of progressive sales experience in Consumer Packaged Goods sales with experience selling internationally preferred
- Prior experience working with international distributors and outside sales representatives preferred
- A proven track record of building strong customer relationships resulting in growing business
- Strong professional oral and written communication skills
- A self-starter with the ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to complete administrative tasks efficiently and manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously
- Customer service oriented
- High sense of urgency with a results-oriented focus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities
- Must have the ability to develop and maintain solid working relationships across organization and with customers
- Excellent computer skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Ability to travel as needed to our corporate headquarters in the Cleveland, Ohio area, as well as international travel as needed. Flexible work hours may be required to meet the needs of international customers.
