A DAY IN THE LIFE:

Acts as liaison for Tandem and our International Distributors for day to day commercial and operational activities with the goal of developing strong partnerships.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develops and maintains relationships with current and new distributors.
  • Serves as an operational contact point for Tandem's International Distributors.
  • Participates in scheduled calls and visits with International Distributors as needed.
  • Responds to inquiries from International Distributors, leveraging relationships with various functions within Tandem to provide up-to-date information.
  • Manages the distributor email inbox; reviews and answers emails or phone inquiries and determines if management action is required.
  • Manages incoming Purchase Orders and other data to effectively communicate current and future international product demand to manager and other key stakeholders.
  • Utilizes Purchase Orders to confirm shipment timing and details, for communication with International Distributors and internal stakeholders.
  • Updates International Price List as needed.
  • Maintains accurate, complete, and up-to-date International Distributor records in CRM system.
  • Holds meetings with International Distributor Logistic Partners on an as need basis to discuss updates, changes, or general check-ins.
  • Works with IT to update CRM with warranty dates.
  • Participates in quarterly business review with each distributor.
  • Identifies and elevates concerns to Manager.
  • Assists in corporate events, including communication and coordination of International Distributor visits.
  • Provides feedback to international team on an as-needed basis.
  • Assist in providing International Distributor trainings for Operational Activities.
  • Coordinates and maintains record of any new, changes or updates to training materials provided to International Distributors.
  • Works with supply chain and other key stakeholders on any backorders.
  • Works with supply chain on delivery inconsistencies.
  • Tracks and maintains RMA tracker, works with supply chain on RMA return labels to ensure RMA timeliness.
  • Maintains record of transferring of pumps across geographies and updates CRM record accordingly.
  • Liaises regarding Tender activities and requests
  • Works with key stakeholders on labeling updates.
  • Confirms completion of required training plan before assuming job responsibilities.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies, including Privacy/HIPAA, and other legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.


YOU'RE AWESOME AT:

Knowledge, skills & abilities:

  • Demonstrated ability to work accurately and with initiative and handle multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency with Tandem's CRM system.
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Able to effectively share information in verbal and written form while being culturally sensitive.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate over the phone with customers to resolve issues and answer questions according to department protocols and requirements.
  • Skilled at presenting information in a clear, concise manner to all levels within the organization.
  • Skilled at contributing on a consistent basis to team initiatives in a thorough and timely manner.
  • Able to react to changing situations in a timely, calm, and confident manner.
  • Able to travel internationally.
  • Knowledge of additional language is desirable.


Minimum certifications/educational level:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and applicable job experience


Minimum experience:

  • 3 years of experience in a customer service or sales support environment.
  • Experience training customers at varying levels of their organizations.
  • Culturally sensitive.
  • Experience with processing orders.
