International Finance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced International Finance Manager to join our dynamic finance team. You will be responsible for managing our international accounting operations while working closely with our VP, Global Controller and Senior Global Tax Manager on finance and tax compliance for our overseas subsidiaries. The Finance department is currently working with the subsidiaries in Germany, the UK, Estonia, Singapore, and Japan and will add more through acquisitions. This role provides ample opportunity to work for a well-established global company operating internationally.

Key responsibilities of this position include:

• Ensure integrity and accuracy in the accounting by driving process improvements, reconciling general ledger accounts, and performing analysis on balance sheet and income statements by legal entity.
• Aide in the acceleration of the monthly financial close to be achieved in 5-business days.
• Contribute to improving the ERP system, finance procedures and documentation.
• Establish effective working relationships with key stakeholders within the organization.
• Support the VP, Global Controller and Senior Manager of Tax in financial and compliance activities, including monthly reporting, taxation, VAT, budgeting, transfer pricing and yearly audits with consolidations of the companies.

Qualifications (Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):

• You have at least 3 to 5 years of experience from a finance department or an audit company, and you therefore have strong competences and experience within accounting and finance.
• In addition, you have worked in an international context before, and you are therefore excited about the opportunity to support subsidiaries in multiple countries. You do not need to have experience with all the above-mentioned countries, but fluency in English is a must for you to succeed.
• You also have a master’s degree or equivalent in finance or accounting as well as excellent IT skills including in Microsoft Office.
• Strong financial background and leadership experience
• It is also an advantage if you have experience with:
  1. US GAAP and/or IFRS
  2. VAT compliance and income tax in some of the above-mentioned countries
  3. NetSuite or multitude of ERP systems

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Travel:

This position requires up to 10% travel. Frequently, travel is outside the local area and overnight
