International Market Analyst Intern

The International Field Operations team is seeking an intern who wants to gain knowledge and experience working in a global team. In their role, the International Market Analyst intern will conduct market research, analyze market data, and brainstorm strategies for understanding different segments of Alarm.com’s international markets and potential business opportunities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The International Market Analyst Intern’s primary job responsibilities will include:

• Analyze data to identify industry trends.
• Performs research projects on the impact of external events, competitor analysis, or other focused market studies.
• Market research - Collect data on potential customers, competitors and marketplaces and consolidate information into actionable items, reports, and presentations.
• Identify and collect relevant data points, for example: Consumers: Demographics, buying habits, needs, and price points.
• Construct and maintain a strategy for recording research data. Ensuring that ongoing research can be measured over time & that bespoke projects are easily accessible.
• Be familiar with the relevant tools required to conduct remote research on the market, customers & customer behavior.
• Prepare and submit reports that summarizes findings in a digestible, graphical, and actionable manner.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Pursuing or recently attained a bachelor’s degree in business management, Marketing, Strategy, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• Experience working on research projects with broad scope.
• Demonstrated proficiency with market research methodology, analysis, and reporting.
• Effective communication skills.
• Creative problem solving.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
