This position is a merchandising manager role within the global merchandising team. Its primary purpose is to manage total global merchandise assortments from all sources, identify product opportunities, maintain brand alignment. This position will report into the Director of International Merchandising.
What you’ll be working onSPARC Brands - Nautica
- Participate in all stages of seasonal category product development for Mens & Womens. Concept, SKU Plan handoff, proto & SRS stages, bulk orders, PO submissions
- Align seasonal International product needs with SPARC Sku Plan; ensure additional product needs for international and ensure the demand for additional product is commercially justified.
- Facilitate seasonal buy & anchor buy process for all global partners & vendors
- Create & maintain seasonal bookings recap for SPARC assortment
- Identify product successes, opportunities within each territory from total assortment – SPARC, Local Production, Licensee collections
- Create & maintain all market tools (market calendar, line sheet creation/coordination, International specific cost logs)
- Assist in showroom set up for each market. Process samples, set showroom space, steam
- Review & approve all product submits from labdips, strikeoffs, protos, samples, TOPs
- Manage the seasonal Denim Creation assortment from sku plan, sample review through PO submission
- Assist in managing all direct vendor orders including Costco/Off price Global orders and product development for Nautica
- Flexibility to assist with other NAU International projects as needed
Nautica International
- Support Locally Sourced development and production by International partners
- Review and approve product to ensure brand integrity and consistency meets brand team expectations
- Align new partners and brand teams on SOP Process and ABG contractual obligations
- Maintain DRF’s and approval tracking history – attain knowledge of each brand’s product systems
- Bachelor's DegreeÂ
- 3+ years experience- Product Development, Sales (retail or wholesale), Merchandising, Marketing or Brand ManagementÂ
- Excellent apparel sensibilityÂ
- Competitive market awarenessÂ
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Primary Location Salary Range:
$80,000 - $90,000
