International Policy and Strategy Lead - SME
KBR is seeking an International Policy and Strategy Lead - SME to join our team in Chantilly, VA. You have expertise in analysis, liaison, and regulatory compliance with familiarity in IC policy and strategy development process. As an International Policy and Strategy Lead, you are an effective communicator with several years' experience in policy and strategy related to modeling and simulations, wargaming, international affairs, and space-related cooperation. You are a subject matter expert on policy, laws, treaties, regulations, pertaining to overhead reconnaissance. While your day-to-day may fluctuate, you will primarily be responsible for:
- Analyzing international policy and strategy proposals impacting NRO, IC or DoD missions related to international and national space, intelligence, defense, and security
- Building and maintaining U.S. international relationships, agreements, policies, and doctrine regarding national security particularly with the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, and New Zealand
- Reviewing and assessing draft language, agreements proposed by internal and external organizations for style and substance
- Proposing new and revised language for internal approval and higher authority policy and strategy inclusion (National, ODNI, and SecDef)
- Developing various types of communications including drafting policies, interagency agreements, memoranda of understanding, management control programs, management letters of instruction, statements of assurance, briefings, and other reports as needed
- Identifying issues, providing necessary background information and potential solution options, discussing and assessing the merits of each option, and providing recommendations
Required Qualifications
- Active Top Secret/SCI with CI Poly
- 15+ years of relevant experience in a project/program of a similar technical scope, size, and complexity
- 3+ years of relevant NRO experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Public Policy, Literature, History, Business, Economics or STEM related disciplines
