POSITION OVERVIEW 

Alarm.com, a rapidly growing, entrepreneurial technology company, is seeking an International Program Management Associate to join our talented International team. The International Program Management Associate role is perfect for candidates who want to gain exposure to a wide variety of technologies in the IoT world including wireless communication, video monitoring, smart home automation, web development, and back-end application development and hosting. As a Program Management Associate for Alarm.com, you will have the chance to develop innovative solutions for our partners and more than 5 million subscribers worldwide. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

The International Program Manager primary job responsibilities will include:

  • Understanding product functionality, data content, and system architecture of the products
  • Becoming the product expert and liaison to internal parties as well as external dealers and partners
  • Perform market research about IoT and analyze all business processes for new market entries while maintaining active knowledge on relevant trends
  • Plan, maintain and evaluate international market readiness of hardware and feature releases with international parties
  • Support international teams (marketing, operations, field teams) for internal readiness and coordinate country release activities
  • Support product managers for international products to define product configurations and variants according to country regulations or customer needs
  • Track product development, timelines and product life cycles in and communicate with international stakeholders
  • Manage and maintain international priorities for new developments, features, integrations and bugs
  • Gather all the feedback from international stakeholders and customers to triage and review with product management teams
  • Assist Product Launch Team to coordinate release notes for international countries
  • Assist regulatory certification process with certification labs or manufacturers.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology
  • 3-5 years overall work experience
  • Strong quantitative, analytical and critical thinking abilities
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for consumer technology and interest in developing a deep understanding of complex products and technologies
  • Strong computer skills, including in-depth experience leveraging project management software; familiarity with Atlassian JIRA and Confluence or similar project management tools.
  • General knowledge of basic engineering principles
  • Relevant security industry experience is plus
