Job Summary: 

As the International Sales Manager, you will be responsible to develop and deliver long-term strategies for each key account, as well as bring operational excellence and achieve agreed KPIs and objectives for our business. 


Job Expectations:

  • Develop and execute effective business strategies to expand sales and contribute to the growth of the company and revenue objectives. 
  •  Leverage all external and internal sources to continuously build pipelines and enhance sales opportunities with both new and existing customers
  • Contribute sales insight to shape international marketing activities, sales performance goals and forecasts.
  • Define and execute global / regional / local account strategy, including annual revenue plan and target plans.
  • Identify business opportunities, steers business development opportunities for double-digit growth as well as defines account-specific pricing and ensures fulfillment of all business commitments.
  •  Find and vet new distributors: Identify and evaluate viable prospects, vet qualified
  • partners, facilitate signoff.
  • Responsible for comprehensive contract negotiations (administer, negotiate, and finalize), as
  • well as responsible for compliance with the contract (address issues, mitigate liability).
  • Evaluate distributor sales pipeline sufficiency and support their demand generation actions as needed.
  • Deliver market insights to the wider team, giving regular performance and account strategy updates
  • Responsible for timely and accurate administration tasks supporting account strategy including sales forecast updates, monthly reports, project pipeline management.
  • Demand planning proficiencies is a plus. 
  • Develop and maintain strong executive and cross-functional relationships
  • Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with customers while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs
  • Remain current on industry trends, market activities, governmental regulations, and competitive landscape
  • Effectively communicate value propositions through presentations and proposals
  • Domestic and International travel on an on needed basis.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Required:         

  • Forecasting 
  • Demand planning proficiencies is a plus 
  • A demonstrated competency in budgeting, forecasting, and planning is required
  • A competent analytical skill set is required
  • Proven ability to lead and develop a network of global distribution and retail partners (EMEA, APAC, and others) 
  • Track record of growing business and increasing revenue through developing markets, channels, and overall product sales
  • Strong business acumen and decision-making ability
  • Passionate about ensuring buyers, retailers, and distributors have positive brand experiences
  • Fluency in additional language(s) a plus
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to travel 
  • Customer Focus: Delivers legendary service that meets and exceeds all customers' expectations

Equipment Knowledge:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • SAP knowledge is a plus 
  • Experience with Google Business Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms) preferred


Experience Requirements:

  • Generally requires a minimum ten plus (10+) years work experience in sales – preferably with high price point Consumer goods, Food & Beverage,  Nutraceutical industry, Beauty or Personal care products
  • 3+ years of team management and leadership experience with a desire to develop and mentor others
  • Experience leading large cross-functional projects
  • Preparing and presenting to senior management 
  • Transactions, deal structuring, due diligence, strategic alliances
  • International business experience/ Cross border transactions and/or multinational experience 
  • Demonstrated leadership skills are imperative. Qualified candidates will be team builders who can develop a consensus; concurrently, they will be effective decision makers. 
  • Communication & Presentation
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
  • Ability to lead via influence, persuasion, and negotiation
  • Ability to build narratives, synthesize data succinctly and create presentations
  • Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship


Education Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, or related field strongly preferred
  • MBA is a plus

The anticipated pay scale for this position can be found below, however the pay range applicable to you may vary by geographic location based on where the job is located or where you work.  The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry, education, etc.  iHerb, LLC is a multi-state employer and this pay scale may not reflect positions that work in other states or locations.
Employees (and their families) that meet eligibility criteria as outlined in applicable plan documents are eligible to participate in our medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance programs and may enroll in our company’s 401(k) plan. Employees will also be eligible for Time Off and Paid Sick Leave pursuant to the company’s policies. Employees will enjoy paid holidays throughout the calendar year.  Eligibility requirements for these benefits will be controlled by applicable plan documents.

Hired applicant may be awarded Restrict Stock Units and receive annual bonuses pursuant to eligibility and performance criteria defined in the respective plan documents and policies.
