International SEO Manager

What we’re looking for

As SurveyMonkey continues its journey to $1B+ in revenue, we’re looking for an International SEO Manager to lead our global search engine optimization efforts for SurveyMonkey.com. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving international organic growth, a deep understanding of diverse markets, and the ability to execute effective SEO strategies across different regions.

What you’ll be working on

• Developing and executing international SEO strategies to enhance our organic search visibility and drive targeted traffic across various global markets.
• Conducting comprehensive keyword research for multiple languages and regions, identifying opportunities and local search trends.
• Collaborating closely with content strategists and localization teams to ensure culturally sensitive and linguistically accurate content that resonates with international audiences.
• Implementing on-page and off-page SEO tactics to improve search rankings and organic traffic across different countries and languages.
• Monitoring and analyzing website performance using international SEO tools and analytics platforms, adapting strategies based on regional insights.
• Staying updated with search engine algorithm changes, regional search trends, and industry developments to optimize strategies accordingly.
• Leading technical SEO initiatives for international sites, including hreflang implementation, mobile optimization, and crawlability.
• Developing and executing international link-building strategies to enhance domain authority across diverse markets.
• Tracking and reporting on key metrics related to international organic search performance.
• Working closely with cross-functional teams, including content, design, and development, to integrate international SEO strategies into broader marketing initiatives.

We’d love to hear from people with

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an SEO professional with 5+ years of experience.
• Expertise in using international SEO tools such as hreflang tags, country-specific keyword research tools, and analytics platforms.
• Multilingual proficiency is a plus, with the ability to understand and optimize content in multiple languages.
• In-depth understanding of international SEO best practices, regional search engines, and cultural nuances.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze and interpret data to drive informed international SEO decisions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the capacity to work effectively with cross-functional, international teams.
• Demonstrated adaptability to stay current with evolving search engine algorithms and international search trends.
