International Specialist I

Overview

This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that time working will regularly take place inside and outside of a company office.

This position is part of the International Wire Services team which executes daily operating activities. Daily tasks will primarily include entering, receiving, and verifying USD and assorted foreign currency payments. Provide service to customers, both internal and external, by resolving issues and answering inquiries via email and phone. Multiple internal applications and websites will be utilized to complete day to day assignments. Ensures compliance with all applicable banking regulations.

Responsibilities

• Processing - Reviews and processes all transaction requests, including the preparation of documentation and cash item delivery. Ensures authentication of request and compliance with applicable regulations.
• Service & Support - Coordinates with both internal and external parties to achieve business goals and streamline service experience. Determines target needs and provides resolution. Performs data entry, reporting, and analysis as necessary.
• Reconciliation - Maintains balance of cash items in vault or system. Addresses imbalances by timely processing of any fees, payments, or returns.
• Currency Proficiency - Maintains knowledge in area of work. Inspects foreign cash items or transactions for accuracy. May ensure competitive rates for Bank currency exchange.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED and 1 years of experience in International Banking or Operations

Preferred Area of Experience: Banking

Additionally Preferred Qualifications

• Wires experience
• Ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment
• Basic Excel knowledge
• Ability to work within multiple systems at one time

If hired in North Carolina, the base pay for this position is generally between $16.58 per hour and $23.83 per hour. If hired in California, the base pay for this position is generally between $19.64 per hour and $28.58 per hour. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
