Job Description
Summary
This position is with the Small Business Administration, Office of International Trade in Charlotte, North Carolina or Raleigh, North Carolina. Provide guidance to U.S. small businesses on entering international markets through trade development and export finance programs.

Qualifications
Specialized Experience: At least one year of specialized experience (equivalent to the GS-13 level in the Federal service) obtained in either the Public or Private sector that includes the following:
(1) Origination, underwriting and/or structuring of secured loans (e.g. commercial and industrial loans); asset-based loans (ABL); and/or structured trade finance products; AND
(2) Serving as a relationship manager, loan officer, loan product portfolio manager, or program director at the assistant vice president level or higher in a financial institution, financial services company, or federal agency.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g. Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
All qualification requirements must be met by 11:59 pm (Eastern Time) on 06/07/2024.

Career and InterAgency Career Transition Assistance Programs:
Career Transition Assistance Plan (CTAP) is a program that helps "surplus" or "displaced" federal employees improve their chances of finding a new job in their current agency (intra-agency, i.e. SBA employees only).
