In this internship, you will get the unique opportunity to work in a distinct area of the SCM organization spanning across Purchasing, Direct/Indirect Commodity Management, Logistics, Supplier Development, Quality, Analytics, Strategy. You'll work closely with cross functional teams and key stakeholders to contribute towards the Aptiv's vision of making the world a safer, greener and better connected place.

Your role:

Aptiv's Supply Chain Internship Program is a 12-week Summer internship designed to provide interns with exposure to Aptiv's business and culture.

• Review Category strategies to understand the category landscape, key demand, cost & market drivers & overall Category objectives.

• Complete Market research on specific supply markets to provide insights on key supply, cost & technology trends within that market.

• Complete spend analysis to identify cost reduction opportunities, supply-base consolidation options & new sources of supply.

• Review key Contract terms to identify risks and opportunities.

• Support commercial & contractual negotiations planning as required.

• Learn & develop knowledge of general procurement & commercial concepts & practices.

• Other duties as required.

Your Background:

What you'll have

• Enrolled in 3rd level Business (or Finance) degree.

• Strong interest in Supply Chain Management and knowledge of finance concepts.
