Interstate National Account Manager
Job Description
What you will do
Partner closely with Interstate and Clarios internal teams to ensure proactive alignment on opportunities, technology, and capacity to support a growing national accounts business across a vast array of accounts.
How you will do it
• Lead a complex cross functional team in working closely with IB national account leadership to proactively scan and identify channel, customer, and technology opportunities.
- Stay on top of rapidly evolving customer needs and competitor actions to ensure technology and capacity availability is aligned for OES customers
- Provide effective leadership and customer voice as a key leader for the national account business
- Develop strategy for channel execution and sale to customers
• Leverage technology to promote account management best practices to ensure a clear opportunity pipeline is identified and actioned
- Develop and manage a high performing team for commercial excellence delivery, lead enterprise excellence, accountability, and drive for customer focused results.
- Deliver consistent, value-based solutions to our customers.
- Develop and execute a strategy to increase the relationship of Clarios with our customers; establish Clarios as a trusted partner at the highest level within our customer organizations
• Deliver on customer and company commitments inclusive of timing, technical and financial aspects
- Drive rigor for execution in achieving business targets; identify enhancements that increase program value to Clarios, and based on innovation at the customer
- Lead support of technical requirements for NAC OES customer base
- Leverage and manage Clarios OE pipeline information in providing key industry insights to national account customers.
• Constant communication of IB requirements across both organizations to ensure alignment and mutual success
- Ensure open and constant communication of changes and requirements across dynamic segment of customers
- Leadership and demonstration of extensive understanding of battery technical and quality requirements to support OES customers
What we look for
• Bachelor's in business or Other Related Major (MBA preferred)
• 10+ years Commercial business experience (e.g., Marketing, Strategy, Commercial Finance, Consultative Sales)
• Experience in the battery industry or automotive aftermarket preferred
• Demonstrated ability to deliver results individually and through others
• Strong business and financial acumen
• Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills required. Effectively able to communicate with and influence the customer and internal stakeholders.
• Demonstrated critical thinking capability - Ability to take a big picture approach to develop innovative strategies that support & balance both near and long-term objectives for the business, products & brands.
• Decisive Leadership - Ability to formulate and present credible & timely recommendations and decisions, even if some facts are not available. Ability to take action & drive results using sound judgment to optimize business results.
• Fosters Teamwork - Encourages and facilitates innovation & idea generation in others.
• Fact-Based Problem Solving - Ability to identify emerging trends in customer/consumer preferences in order to predict their impact on market segments
• Willingness to travel to support job responsibilities as required. (Approx. 30%)
