PURPOSE:

The InTune Administrator is responsible for configuring, developing, and managing the systems management software (SCCM/Intune) for all end-user hardware. This role will help to identify and troubleshoot issues with new hardware or software deployments.

KEY OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for non-standard workspaces and providing recommendations for proper hardware.
  • Responsible for ensuring optimal performance of end-user workstations and work to design solutions.
  • Communicate with the CAB per protocol and participate in the change management process as necessary.
  • Working knowledge and hands on experience with SCCM 2012 R2/SCCM 2008/Microsoft InTune
  • Use InTune to implement and enforce policies for device compliance, and security to end-user devices and servers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to InTune deployments
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to endpoint management.
  • Trouble shoot SCCM agents installed on clients to ensure that all systems are receiving updates
  • Responsible for providing design, deploying, configuring and support of desktop technologies.
  • Experience troubleshooting, configuring, deploying, and administrating Microsoft workstations connect to a domain
  • Management of software application patches windows updates etc.
  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Entra ID, and Group Policy administration
  • Maintain and support the backups of local production infrastructure.
  • Support customer use of local applications and equipment, escalating to vendors, the IT Infrastructure team, or IT Applications team as necessary.
  • Coordinate with other IT staff to learn new skills and improve the consistency of the end-user experience at all Calumet locations.
  • Collaborate with the infrastructure team to optimize server configurations and resource utilization.
  • Train teammates in the use of new hardware and application software and software tools.
  • After-hours support may be necessary in limited situations.
  • Respond to inquiries and requests for escalated technical assistance from end-users.
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCES:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Information Technology, or similar technical field
  • 3+ years Experience using Microsoft InTune
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds

PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCES:

  • Knowledge of or experience with Office 365 and Azure administration
  • Demonstrable problem-solving abilities and a willingness to find root causes
  • Strong desire to help people and improve service with IT function
  • Ability to handle multiple workloads in a fast-paced environment, with demonstrated ability to set priorities and manage own time in order to maximize productivity
  • Associate-level and entry-level certifications in the following areas are preferred: networking, physical hardware, virtualization technology
  • Knowledge or experience in MS Intune
  • Ability to install software and troubleshoot a wide range of applications
