Who We Are:

Inventory Accounting Manager 

As Inventory Accounting Manager you will manage inventory balancing, financial controls, and reconciliations.  You will be responsible for developing and maintaining inventory reporting and dashboards. 

What You’ll Do:

• Optimize inventory costing by forecasting needs, analyzing movement patterns, performance reporting, and resolving inventory discrepancies.
• Reconcile inventory activity between the WMS and financial systems to ensure accurate operational and financial reporting.
• Analyze inventory costing components and partner with the Production team to ensure accurate standard costs and estimates.
• Work in conjunction with supply chain to provide inventory forecasts and comparison of actuals, aging and turns.
• Ensure that once containers are received physically and systematically by warehouses, they are also input timely and accurately into ERP and the financial system.
• Create and implement world-class inventory practices and ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Review historical inventory trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.
• Coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions.
• Partner with the technical team on design, testing and implementation of improvements to the ERP inventory system.

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Finance or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum of 1 year of management experience 
• Minimum of 1 year of inventory control experience 
• 5+ years’ experience in inventory accounting, analysis, control and warehousing operational processes 
• 2 years of large-scale ERP experience
