Maesa has recently created its own Operational Excellence team, whose purpose is to build capability in our people, processes and systems across the extended Supply Chain. One of the most critical areas of focus is Inventory Control. We are expanding our team to provide greater capacity to ensure real-time accuracy of our inventory across the full vendor network.
The Inventory Manger will monitor, oversee, and optimize Maesa’s North American inventory for all brands, finished goods and components. The role will work with Supply Chain leadership to ensure that Maesa has a robust inventory management process and the required associate capability to support delivery of the overall supply chain objectives and KPI’s. This role allows high visibility, direct impact on the company bottom line through leading key initiatives, driving continuous improvement of systems/processes/tools, and building capability within the broader supply chain organization. This position is also responsible for managing and developing the Inventory Analyst(s).
Pay Range: $105,000/yr - $120,000/yr. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Activities
- Partner with Supply Planning function to define ways to improve the overall health of inventory including avoidance of out of stocks, excess, and obsolete inventory.
- Take leadership in performing inventory reconciliation and develop effective and repeatable solution with core vendors: compare ERP inventory to warehouse records, review transaction logs, instruct physical counts, perform audits.
- Actively align with Supply Planning Capability Leads to define & support a governance a process for inventory policy parameter refreshes for each brand and execute it accordingly.
- Refine, monitor & mitigate key metrics to measure inventory results and performance; inclusive of:
- Summary and conclusion of key “net change” drivers and trends.
- Synthesize inventory data into specific action.
- Drive execution of actions for inventory results.
- Projecting and translating changes in inventory position and the contribution or impact those changes have on the balance sheet and/or P&L.
- Work closely with Finance teams on working capital needs and projections for inventory purposes to achieve company growth ambitions.
- Be familiar and proficient in data extraction, handling and data consumption and should be able to provide design requirements for effective visualization techniques leveraging tools like PowerBI & Tableau.
- Supports continuous process improvement by generating required analysis, developing analytical & statistical models to resolve/detect escalated performance issues.
- Ideate in building initiatives around inventory optimization processes across all brands for finished goods and components.
- Provide coaching, leadership and mentoring to 1 or 2 inventory analysts, to enable them to complete their roles effectively.
- Provide leadership to inventory analysis in the maintenance and publishing of inventory health reports.
Background Experience and Qualifications:
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply chain, Engineering, or other relevant fields.
Experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years business experience with experience in Logistics, Supply Planning, Demand Planning, or Inventory Management.

- Experience in a high-volume consumer goods environment.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and effectively manage time in a fast-paced work environment.
