About This Job
The main purpose of this job is to analyze and evaluate industries, companies, securities, performance returns, portfolio and/or investment managers through fundamental and/or quantitative techniques.
Essential Functions
- Present to clients and prospective clients
- Review work and serve as a mentor to junior team members
- Analyze and evaluate industries, companies, securities, performance returns, portfolio and/or investment managers through fundamental and/or quantitative techniques
- Keep abreast of relevant market events and trends
- Partner with external management teams, industry representatives, and/or provider representatives
- Prepare reports and communicate evaluations to portfolio managers
- Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
- Intermediate knowledge of the investment field
- Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Inquisitive, agile and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
- Basic level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- 3+ years investment experience required
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation preferred
