About 4AIR Ventures - SAF Fund:

4AIR, the industry leader focusing on aviation sustainability solutions created 4AIR Ventures, a Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) investment fund. The fund will aim to increase the use and accessibility of SAF, enabling aviation operators and others to access a steady, long-term supply of SAF to reduce their impact from flying, while obtaining equity interest in SAF companies.

Position Summary:

The Business Analyst plays a crucial role in analyzing prospective SAF investments and offtake deals, monitoring existing investments, and assisting with the operations of the fund. This includes conducting due diligence, building financial models, maintaining capitalization tables, and providing refined deliverables to various internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, this role will provide the executive team with recommendations on investments, conduct industry research, and prepare presentations. This role reports directly to the executive team and will engage with prospective investors and existing portfolio companies. This is a high-visibility role that permits expanded responsibilities and creating valuable career growth opportunities.

Remote, TX based preferred.

Essential Functions:

1. Create various types of financial models and valuation methods to analyze prospective portfolio investments.

2. Scrutinize capital raising activities to identify potential investors and determine most advantageous terms for 4AIR Ventures.

3. Prepare and review materials used in capital raising activities, management presentations, and prospective portfolio companies.

4. Build relationships with investors and portfolio companies where you are seen as a critical resource and asset to external parties.

5. Prepare fuel offtake models, forecasting the impact of various regulatory and policy on future SAF costs.

6. Perform due diligence, industry research, and analysis on portfolio companies and become an expert on the SAF industry.

Minimum Qualifications:• 2-3 years of related work experience, preferably in public accounting, investment management, or transactions.• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.• Financial modeling skills to evaluate investment opportunities and support decision-making.• Analytical aptitude for conducting due diligence and assessing industry trends.• Willingness to travel as required.
