Job Description
POSITION: Investment Assistant
LOCATION: 280 Park Avenue, New York, NY
HOURS: 7:30am – 5:00pm or 8:00am – 5:30pm, hybrid in-office schedule
JOB FUNCTION
The Investment Assistant will provide administrative support for up to 4 investment professionals. This position requires a candidate who is enthusiastic about and excels in a support role. This role reports into the Chief Administrative Officer of the Private Equity Team.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Extensive use of Outlook to schedule all meetings and conference calls.
- Gatekeeper function: discern which information and callers get through to the investment professionals; phone coverage and screening; handling correspondence.
- Organize and schedule high volume of domestic and international travel arrangements, prepare related travel itineraries.
- Prepare expense reports; maintain records of receipts and paperwork.
- File building: generation of both physical and digital files.
- Provide back-up coverage for one other Investment Assistant.
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will have:
- An undergraduate degree with a record of academic success.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong Microsoft Outlook and Excel skills with a knowledge of Word and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated customer service orientation and strong organizational skills.
- Support experience within a team environment preferred.
