Essential Functions/Responsibilities
- Supports the investment management team in implementing investment strategies across client accounts.
- The analyst is expected to both implement current business process and innovate within the role to bring more automation and efficiency to process at large.
- The role will have a broad reach in affecting innovation with the wealth management workflow and work closely with senior management in all areas of the wealth management line of business.
- The role involves executing and processing a wide range of investment transactions through a broad network of trading parties.
- Responsibilities include guiding client advisors in day to day implementation of investments portfolios as the key liaison between the investment team and trading execution.
- Analyst assists with the distribution of various performance and metric reporting.
- Analyst implements and monitors trading activity to ensure that all regulatory guidelines are met.
- Analyst troubleshoots and resolves problems that occur due to trading activities.
- Analyst also performs other duties as assigned which support the overall investment function, including but not limited to marketing, administrative, compliance activities.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Needed to Perform Essential Functions of the Job
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Or Computer Science with a primary emphasis and course work in information systems with a minor or double major in business.
- Familiarity and demonstrated interest of the following: investments, accounting and financial principles, security analysis, and macroeconomics.
- Experience in banking or financial services is plus but not required.
- CFA designation, or in process of obtaining is encouraged.
- Commitment to professional development; knowledge of current economic and market issues, trends, and best practices.
- Interest and knowledge of capital market structure, wealth management industry practices, and regulations.
