Investment Operations Associate
Job Description

Ideal for those passionate about startups, this role involves facilitating financing for these employees. As an Investment Operations Specialist in the U.S. team, you'll oversee investment transactions, collaborate with sales, fund administration, and compliance teams, and improve processes with the product and R&D teams. Responsibilities include deal approvals, cash management, bookkeeping, and enhancing transaction efficiency, offering growth opportunities in expanding investment services for startup employees.
Responsibilities
- Prepare private placement deals for broker/dealer approval and publication on investor platforms.
- Conduct due diligence, including credit and background checks.
- Assist with regulatory filings and client inquiries.
- Manage, process, and reconcile financial transactions like wires and internal transfers.
- Update and improve standard operating procedures.
- Analyze data for reporting and collaborate with departments like compliance, legal, finance, and sales.
- Support regulatory examinations, audits, and inquiries related to broker-dealer activities.
- Support daily treasury operations.
- Engage with customers for transaction facilitation and inquiries.
- Grow within the role to manage departmental tasks.
Requirements
- Organized, detail-oriented professional with 2+ years in finance, operations, or compliance, preferably in a financial institution or FinTech startup.
- FINRA Series 7 & 63 licenses OR passing within 8 months, we offer sponsorship.
- Strong communication skills, financial transaction tracking, and reporting abilities.
- Team player capable of independent work in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid understanding of investment and equity mechanics.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
